Rayla Elkey is a young and successful virtual assistant who also succeeded this year in creating a community for all the aspiring virtual assistants out there, the Ditching the 9-5 community. She started expressing interest in being an entrepreneur in 2016 and she realized that in this industry there was a lot of gatekeeping. Her purpose is to share the knowledge she accumulated in the past 5 years and help other fellow students to follow in her footsteps and have the necessary support via the community’s channels on the Facebook Group and Discord.
