Nu după mult timp după ce “Regele Egiptean” Mohamed Salah a câștigat premiul PFA Player of the Year, acesta a fost numit FWA Player of the Year după un sezon uimitor sub patronajul lui Jurgen Klopp de la Liverpool.
Salah a înscris 43 de goluri în toate competițiile din acest sezon.
În ceea ce privește distincțiile individuale, el a câștigat premiul African Player of Year la începutul acestui an, precum și mai multe Player Of The Match.

La moment Salah se afla în cursa pentru Golden Shoe şi Ballon d’Or, în ambele acesta fiind printre favoriţi.
